As a staunch Norse historian I recognize their religion led them to much bravery, but also infighting. Christianity has that as well, but the Pagans would steal from you and then feel like that wasn't honorable so they'd return and burn the place to the ground (see: Egil's Saga).

    Odin had a very dual nature and was really only worshipped by Jarls, chieftains and petty kings. Treachery was built into his pathos despite the teachings of the Havamal. It's why common soldiers wore Thor's necklace and not something like Odin's ravens or spear symbols.

    @sickburnbro @dictatordave @pyrate There is a whole field of study that says the gut is really a second brain, in that mice infected with a particular parasite would become sexually attracted to cats and become easy prey.

    Sound familiar? I would love a blind study of homosexual men and ivermectin and see if after heavy dosing for a few months if a lot of them became straight.

    @EvilSandmich @sickburnbro Gayk, a German company which is really the only pile driver manufacturer of note makes less than 50 machines a year and you have to get a on a waiting list about two years out if you want one. This is for solar fields, but I have a friend that ran a solar pile driving company that was telling me how impossible it is to get a machine (even a used one) of this type.

    I imagine other large equipment is similar.

    @sickburnbro @judgedread How fucked is our system? They purposely put 'bait' out in hotels and charge hospital prices if you so much as dare drink or eat it. I've never once eaten a damn thing out of a hotel or even made coffee in it, the entire experience sours me and pisses me off knowing it's some weird 'gotcha'.

I mean I run a small farm and I run two teams as a manager for programmers and I've written a few published works. I think the distinction is as you said grammar much smaller than we think. Rural whites just tend 'on average' to be more fit and blue collar.
