@p@phnt@ins0mniak@graf@madonline One other entry from the same list I remember is "an image of a cat [I presume, one of those cats that look like Hitler] with a caption "Whiskas [cat food brand] is now even tastier, there's a jew instead of meat", this sounds funnier in Russian since it rhymes. But alas, extremism.
@graf@phnt@ins0mniak@p@madonline Checks out; RKN isn't craling the whole Internet for seditious materials and relies on snitching form, so it might've been some funnyman reporting your instance to every authority they could find. Same reason the Farms got blocked for Santa Hitler image (which ended up in federal list of extremist materials for whatever reason).
a lot of my issue was I always took things as personal attacks because when we came into the fedi scene we came with like 2k people immediately and a lot of people were not impressed with the twitter people and would say harmful things or try to rile me up and I just got so used to it that it was my default response. even to my irl gf sometimes. it has taken a lot of time and getting used to people for me to open up and calm down and i am glad i can build these connections now. be open with people and build friendships
@graf@phnt@ins0mniak@p@madonline I think the traffic that *goes* here isn't DPI filters, so if you have a static IP without CGNAT, you can server your home location as a server and connect the VPS to it as a client, then route it all as usual. Works at least with Wireguard.
@graf@phnt@ins0mniak@p@madonline >they provide socks, http proxies, you get it all They don't do Shadowsocks/VLESS or any of the other DPI-evading protocols; I think xeovo.com are the only one who do if you don't count various Telegram-advertised shady services that die within one month. Still, better to make your own, there's no practical benefit to paid VPN services over your own on some VPS aside from being able to switch locations on the whim.
I love this new computer. It rekindles my love for the machine. There are now 3 clusters due to be installed here at the compound. Soon after that 5 (conservative estimate). As @p said, it's no longer a question of ability, but a question of our intent.
Next weekend, if we don't take a well deserved rest, will be shitposting over ax.25. My nexy parts buy will be somewhere between $200 and $300. After those projects are finished comes the ga144 playtime with as desired ASICs better than FPGAs.
@Ree@Cocoa@coolboymew@sun Like for example I bought a decommissioned Leninovo ThinkCenter M55 with a Pentium D ~16 years ago I think for ~15 USD. Now that completely unremarkable space heater of a box that is useless for anything more than some simple CAD on WinXP apparently goes for around 120USD or more on ebay without shipping. It's ridiculous.
