    There's all these complaints online about how hard it is to manage websockets inside your reactjs app. But I found a simple solution:

    initialize the websocket in main.tsx, attach it to globalThis and don't manage it via react at all. when you need to do something based on websocket data, just use an event handler.

    in other words be a real programmer not a webshit slinger who only knows how to slap together react components.

    "why not read a book?" I read probably 5x as many books when I was young than the average person and I don't enjoy it as much anymore.

    "why not play a video game?" I feel like I'm wasting my life anymore when I do that.

    "why not socialize?" I am still borderline autistic and naturally a loner and can't socialize so much before getting really tired.

    "why not have sex?" gf on other side of planet currently, I am not that well endowed.

    was talking with one of my american friends about how twitter is unusable because of all the onlyfans bots in the replies, and he went on about how it's particularly evil because porn objectifies women and men are conditioned to expect that. i kinda zoned out midway through and just blurted "wait, porn can have women in it???" without thinking....... if you would have looked up "bewilderment" in the dictionary, you would have seen a photo of the look i got. i might just be retarded or something
