Some BBC mouthpiece on TV, telling us how awful it must be to be in a Dubai shopping mall when suddenly a drone crashed nearby.

Not a word about being an Iranian girl attending school, or such like, when US and Israeli bombs suddenly appear!

What bothers me about the Epstein files? Why are the victims names not redacted, but the abusers names are? Something is far wrong there if you ask me.

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Sunday. MrsD's night out had to be cancelled as our elderly fried Peter was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Pat doesn't drive much these days, so MrsD went over to help out. I'm afraid it's not looking too good. 🙁

For goodness sake! Just went to the local hotel for supper. The place was full of a chess convention with chess players everywhere in Reception telling us all how great they are at chess. Honestly, there's nothing worse than chess nuts boasting in an open foyer.

I've just read the findings of a scientific study into the effects of LSD on seabirds. Apparently, they left no tern unstoned.

@selzero The BBC news even pointed out that both the arrested people were British born. But still the f*wits blame refugees. Sigh.

The problem with sweeping generalisations is, they are all wrong.

@dgar Every day, for two weeks, a chicken walked up to a librarian and said "Book! Book!" The librarian gave the chicken a book,and off it went.

One day, the librarian decided to follow the chicken after giving it a book. It led her to a small pond with a frog in it.

The chicken handed the Book to the frog, who looked at it and said "Reddit!" 🤣

@skinnylatte The two things I remember best about a trip to the US a few years ago, Monterey Bay Aquarium and La Brea.

I also visited the Grand Canyon but wasn't all that impressed!

I'm often mistaken for an adult. I think it's because of my age.

Am I the only one who thinks that Trump "demanded' his NATO allies up their contributions to 5% because he thinks (yeah, I know!) they would spend the extra on US equipment?

Given how he's offered the UK "detuned" jets, and can effectively turn them off on a whim, I think (yeah, I know) it would be a bad move to buy anything US made these days.

Just wondering out loud.

Today is looking like a chores day. Shopping and the like, fun. For certain values of "fun". Anyway, have a great Saturday whatever you are doing, or have to do, have fun, have laughs, have a gin if you want, but take care.

Me too. Not as many as I used to, I was an avid book buyer and had "many" bookcases. I read quite a lot but never got round to reading all of them

These days I buy ebooks (pdf, epub or Kindle) on various topics and read them when I'm in the bath! I have still got quite a few to read though.

Nothing has changed!
