Earlier this week there was great excitement about a pilot project covering a section of canal that connected to the grid of the Turlock Irrigation and Power Company.

Of course that is terrific, but let me say that's not restricted to only canals as you can clearly see from this pilot project in Germany.

Basically, I look at it as the fossil fuel industry has purchased the GOP.

It would be interesting to calculate how much income the fossil fuel industry was scheduled to lose if Republicans did not win control over the federal government last year.
