Katrick Technologies created a new kind of wind turbine. It looks like a beehive. Instead of big spinning blades, it uses oscillating air profiles to capture wind energy.

During tests at the University of Strathclyde, the prototype exceeded expectations. It generated an average of 41.1 watts of mechanical power with winds of just 10.2 m/s.
