Yeah, I think confusion might come because Fediverse groups work like traditional email discussion lists (or just "lists"), whereas the Lists feature on Mastodon is something totally different and basically a filter for your Home timeline.

On a serious (ish) note. Does anyone use lists? I'm using Tusky for my dribbling and on a few toots the list of people involved is getting long. I've never had a fan club before! 😉 I was wondering if I/we used a list then would:
A. Posting use the list name as opposed to everyone's name?
B. Replies go to the list?
Anyone know?
