  Diary of an ASD Squirrel. Day 72 Tuesday 09/01/24 TL:DR Excuse me has anyone seen ½ a lung laying about, I seem to have coughed it up & lost it! ; I am thankful to the Universe for putting me on this planet at the same time as some very lovely Peeps ! My Queen, my NGP🧚, my CDP 🧚♀️ & even my ‘Adversary’ to name 4 (indirectly) not to mention other members of SNICoM ! ; ESO Rocks ! 😆 Today has been a day of slow recovery , chills & sweats , coughing like I smoke 90 a day & sneezing fit to burst! On the plus side my head is much clearer , my headache is receding & I’m eating again (no CDP 🧚♀️ nothing more than nuts for treats) . Sleep is frequent but irregular. I am still somewhat hermitic but that is improving little by little too. Triggers came fast & furious this morning , as, dyin as I was I made breakfast, only to bounce off various easily avoidable frustrations. Sometimes the Universe gives with one hand & takes with another! Having a really close friend on hand saved the day , & saved me from some of my less salubrious coping strategies! Managed to accomplish some basic chores that were in desperate need of doing - seems that others are content that typhoid & other less enjoyable experiences are acceptable risks when the house elf is sick. I was going to have an hour or so of gaming this afternoon, CDP 🧚♀️ & I decided that the number of bugs in the MP version of NMS were slightly too frustrating & we fancied a change. Enter - Elder Scrolls Online ! I’ve played Skyrim before , but not ESO , so it was both a new, & vaguely familiar experience! Depending on how one views it the fact that I totally fell in love with it & am now at Lvl 6 from a standing start (including setting up an ESO a/c & reading their interminable T&Cs ), is either good or bad news. Also the fact that I played for about 4 hours straight may indicate why I was slightly absent on Masto this afternoon. Final Thoughts: I feel I should have resisted the urge to get back into the swing of things & stayed in bed! But that is not me, I cannot be that idle for that long! Sometimes you meet friends whose opinion of you matters so much that you will go to extremes to avoid disappointing them! ASD is very much still lurking in the background & being ill really does not help ! ESO FOREVER ! 😂 A massive thank you to all those who are helping me on this journey, in a myriad different ways.
