@alice @actuallyautistic I would consider that all diagnosis is self-diagnosis (there isn't a blood test for it). The role of a medical professional is really to ask the right questions and understand the answers.

What do I know? I will shut up.

I have been, but only once. It always struck me as looking very solid.
Sandstone is much more forgiving.

It means if you hit it, the car will come off worse.

So it makes sense to not have big, expensive cars, because there will be big expensive scratches.
I think the UK does encourage smaller cars. Although I have seen a rolls drive down a very narrow lane.

But, at heart, I sometimes use alt-text to tell me what the poster wants to say. And so anything that helps convey this is what I try to put in.

He is now in government under Trump, who has lost money running a casino. Who has been bancrupted multiple times, and is a convicted felon.
And between them, they have utterly destroyed the reputation of the US.
These two people are in the business of destroying the reputations of everything they touch. That is all they do.

We should laugh at them. Not out of cruelty, but becasue the idea that they are qualified for leadership positions is laughable.
Weirdos.

Schroedinger (steveclough@metalhead.club)'s status on Sunday, 07-Jul-2024 14:57:20 JST Schroedinger @Melissabeartrix Acceptance is tricky to define - I have always accepted you.
But what has changed is a combination of a) knowing anrd interating with many more of you. Which is not deliberate - just that I spend my time in trans-friendly places, and refuse to spend my time in trans-phobic spaces.
also b) the anti trans rhetoric has shown me what trans people are facing, and so has - ironically - made me listen more to what you are saying.

Terry Pratchett
Douglas Adams
Iain M. Banks
John Wyndham
JRR & Christopher Tolkien
Isaac Asimov
Neil Gaiman
Robert JordanI am now struggling. There are quite a few others who I have read a few of, but I cannot get any more that I have read more than 5 of!

I see your point about making them easier to understand, but I worry that they can be too simple.
Also so often, a threat model identifies areas of threat. The threat actors can and will change. Security dev always needs to be flexible and changeable - in weeks/months, not years.
