@The_Turtle_Moves @cR0w @dalias We get Nanolearning links, which contain our mandatory security training.
I couldn’t help roll my eyes when the topic was “don’t click links in emails”

@eaton @jwz I can’t find that quote (the one about murdering) in the source. Is it Stallman’s quote or yours?
#FediBlock
A new instance, nederland.gay, has tech[.]lgbt listed as a “bubble instance”. After inquiring about this, a nederland.gay admin, Alex, sent me an agitated DM informing me that they don’t view tech[.]lgbt as racist, that they don’t agree with everything t.l does, and that they received help from this instance regarding hosting and moderation.
They also wrote something nonspecific, but I think aimed at Ro.

@GossiTheDog ..does this work?
@atomicpoet AI + Policy decisions is also a problem, no matter where the AI runs.
AI is inherently racist and sexist, so when it gets a say about anyone’s life, that’s bad.
@atomicpoet Oh yes, definitely. But governments do have the resources to set up their own AI without the public cloud as well, so I do want to distinguish between AI that you use for yourself, and AI that is used to rule over you.
The Dutch tax authorities used AI to identify fraud. It went exactly how you'd expect it'd go, and this was before cloud AI became popular.
@mjg59 So this would be a programming language without documentation, with a closed source compiler?
I think programs written in it are open source when you share the input (description of how you want it to behave), but I wouldn't want to be a package maintainer for it.
@thomasfuchs The 24 besides February is the year?
@emilygorcenski I did automate. I can confirm your suspicion. The times the automation breaks and I have to fix it, takes more time than just doing it manually.
@emilygorcenski Was this manual ordering or debugging the ACME pipeline and waiting for the cooldown?
I did the latter last week.
Is #Firefox removed from #FreeBSD #ports? pkg search firefox just yields firefox-esr, and pkg upgrade would remove firefox without putting anything back.
