Many IT folks were in denial for a long time, but the reality is here. No job is safe from AI, driven by corporate greed. All you can do is save as much as possible and hope they don’t lay off you. Microsoft plans to replace as many as 30% of its jobs by 2026 and use AI to write software. It is all about cutting costs.

Microsoft's current market capitalization is approximately $3.34 trillion USD. This makes it one of the most richest companies in the world. It just cut workforce by 3% (around 7k). In other words, all job cuts by Google, Microsoft, IBM, Meta, and other big tech directly result from AI investments that have yielded zero returns so far while paying zero money to original book writers, artists, journalists, and open-source developers as they stole their hard work. To compensate for that loss in AI, management came up with an idea to cut workers. Such a master stroke 😂
