I support a world without atomic weapons.

Israel definitely has nukes, they are the primary danger. They should be forced to dismantle their arsenal.

I also think Iranian nuclear should be inspected because they are a signatory to a non proliferation treaty, and inspections are the enforcement mechanism.

I don't believe for a second that Iran has weapons of mass destruction. To be clear.

Inspections are how we keep it that way.

Now for the rest of it:

The Israeli nuclear weapons program exists. Even though they refuse to acknowledge their arsenal, literally everyone knows they have it. The Israeli nuclear stockpile, in conjunction with the aggressive and militaristic government in Tel Aviv, is a threat to world peace and imminently endangers millions of lives.

I condemn it on the strongest possible terms, and I am of the belief that the Israeli atomic bomb project should be dismantled with the supervision of the UN and the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Israel should stop bombing Iran, there should be iaea inspectors at Israeli and Iranian nuclear facilities, and Israel should be embargoed until they stop genociding gaza

I am skeptical of anyone who is "against cancel culture" because 99% of the time they are racism or misogyny apologists and I don't think they belong in left spaces.

Anyone who unironically uses the term "Bernie Bro" in the big 25 should not be taken seriously. People who are uncritical of the Democratic party shouldn't be taken seriously.

Socialism or barbarism. That is the path we have in front of us. We can either implement ecosocialist working class democracy (and give everyone nice things like free college and access to a doctor), or we can sacrifice our lives on the altar of neo-fascist slavery until climate change ends agriculture as we know it.

Capitalism has delivered us live streamed mass murder, college debt, and shitty car centric infrastructure that kills tens of thousands of people every year.

The Democrats, who pose as Very Serious People and make the big talk about reigning these people in and preventing them from being as vicious, have done too much to enable their policies and too little to actually stop them.

Republicans are people, in the same way that the Fascists, the Falangists, and the Nazis were people.

I cannot in good faith say that the Republicans are good people who are safe to be around. They are fanatical bigots who threaten my life, liberty, and happiness. They also offend every ethical principle I care about, and they have shown a complete hostility to the democratic process and political dissent.

I use a rabid dog as a metaphor for the fanaticism of fascist ideology, and for the futility of negotiating with fascists or relying on their humanity to protect the interests of oppressed people.

By this definition alone, what Israel is doing is genocide.

Israeli impunity has allowed them to commit an ever escalating series of atrocities and crimes against humanity without any consequences.

They ratchet up the crisis meter by slaughtering Gazans and picking fights with Lebanon and Iran. They spend millions of American taxpayer dollars on killing thousands of civilians in indiscriminate attacks (see the Dahiya doctrine). And the US has shielded them from any accountability at the UN.

The net result is that there was no true opportunity for nonviolent and peaceful de-escalation. None of Israel's allies want Israel to stop, because their own imperial interests rely on the "total victory" of the revisionist Zionists.

The only real route to stopping the collective mania of the Israeli government was through inevitable retaliation by a regional hegemon.

We could have collectively stopped Israel's genocide in Gaza, their attacks on Iran and Lebanon, and the retaliatory attacks on Israeli citizens by taking away Israel's military suppliers and denying them advisers.

We could have saved literal millions of lives by stopping them before they started a regional war.

The "quantum" hype is so inane and silly. Quantum mechanics is a robust scientific theory with real world uses beyond half baked novel computing schemes.

The advertising actually risks mis-educating the public!

If you cannot tell me what a de Broglie wave is, or the significance of the time-independent Schrodinger equation, then you shouldn't talk about quantum anything tbh.

The Democrats worked with the Republicans to lay the ground work for the national guard to be deployed by the maga movement.

They did so when they endorsed the violent suppression of protests surrounding the (ongoing) Gaza genocide. They did so when they materially supported the MAGA-aligned and fascistic Israeli government in their mass murder campaign.

I am willing to cooperate with anyone who is anti-fascist, regardless of political views on other issues.

Gaza is a fascism issue.
