@selzero you're replying to an AI bot in blackface my love
"everything bad is progressivism's fault" says the American after the defeat of global left wing progressivism by the US empire, the extension of monopoly finance capitalism around the globe, and the emergence of a fascist international.
Progressivism brings literacy, health, and a better society. Anti-progressivism brings mass disease, illiteracy, and dictatorship.
We have been on a downhill trajectory and I have no faith in the capitalist system to do anything other than accelerate it further. I find my will to live and the opportunity of a better society in socialism.
Social-ists promise healthcare, and the antisocial-ists promise the public executions of the world's poorest people for a white petit bourgeois audience. Make your pick
As for the decline:
Even Rojava and China, the two modern examples of socialism that tankies and anarchists tout, are very much capitalistic and integrate themselves within the framework created by imperialism.
The virus of neoliberalism has infected every part of human society, and we are all worse off because of it. And it will continue to make humanity sicker until we either excise it with force or we die from its symptoms.
I hate neoliberalism with every fiber of my being. It has destroyed the future of our children, it is annihilating the beautiful planet we call Mother Earth, and it has led to the most egregious consolidation of political and economic power in human history.
Neoliberalism and Fascism are the two greatest threats we as a society face. And so help me God, we have to end them by the means necessary to do so.
"I came to America because of the great, great freedom which I heard existed in this country. I made a mistake in selecting America as a land of freedom, a mistake I cannot repair in the balance of my lifetime."
- Albert Einstein
The problem with anti authoritarian leftism is that all of the rhetoric of anti authoritarian leftism conveniently ignores the authoritarians the US government sponsors and the problem with authoritatian leftism is that they are all capitalist roaders who shill for China.
I've made both sides angry with this one I bet
I'm disillusioned with the factionalist moralism and hypocrisy of the left. I'm a leftist because I want to get shit done and fix problems. I don't want to romanticize vague anarchist experiments or the reactionary government of Stalinist Russia or the chauvinist and social imperialist Labor Party of the 1950s. I don't want to be a mouth piece for the ultra nationalist regime in Russia. And I don't want to just be an ineffectual terminally online poster for all my life who says "if the revolution isn't my perfect commune of anarchist paradise I'm not having it".
I'm here because I have a conviction in proletarian revolution, in anti imperialism, and in radical democracy. And I'm here to make change in the real world. I see democratic socialist mass politics that is informed and guided by the philosophy of scientific socialism as the way forward, so that's what I'm sticking to
HOI4 and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. Revolutionary politics is not a game between factions, it is a necessity for human survival and human prosperity. And the more I realize the necessity of socialism, the more I give up the factionalism and the more I dedicate myself to get down to business.
I don't care if you're an ideologically pure socialist or whatever. What I care about is this: will you do your part to stop fascism and fight for a working class democracy? Or will you fight amongst people who share the same sense of class consciousness as you as if they are your enemies, just to advance your own sense of moral purity and your own ability to rule over society?
Millions of people, around the world, are living wretched half lives right now because of monopoly capitalism, imperialism, and fascist autocracy. They are living the consequences of neoliberalism and of the fascism that comes from that (yes, including America and Europe and Putin's Russia and China under Xi Jinping, no country is exempt).
It is your duty to be in solidarity with them.
The enemy of working class people is not any one socialist tendency. The enemy of working class people is neoliberalism and neofascism, and those people who promulgate these things under the banner of "economic freedom" and national rejuvenation.
Terrorist (noun)
A person who opposes the imperialist policies of the US government.
Terror (noun)
Acts that the US government and its corporate backers don't like.
Cuba is a "state sponsor of terror" because it is the first consistently anti imperialist country in the Western hemisphere. The Cuban revolution shook the world.
It also made the sugar corporations and the tourism industry shit their pants, that's for sure.
Keir Starmer is gone
The man who has presided over the Gaza genocide, the mass arrests of pensioners, and the eradication of transgender people from the United Kingdom.
Good riddance, rest in piss.
Now the goal is to Stop #FascistFarage and the Reform Party
my mother was abusive because she didn't get the healthcare she needed. Most of my childhood was marked by the ebb and flow of an adult woman's bipolar disorder. And she lashed out with ableist and homophobic slurs, with physical abuse, and with actual psychological torture methods.
A couple times I was forced to stay awake for long periods without any knowledge of what time it was or what it looked like outside. Like, uniform lighting and complete isolation. Literally something straight out of 1984.
And my mother tried forcing me to write down on paper that I was a sociopath. No kidding. Berating me for days on end until my spirit was broken and I couldn't protest anymore.
It was so bad that my mother was incapable of working or taking care of herself without outside help. She was clearly suffering, but she placed the onus of her suffering on her children. Me and my siblings. And she refused to get help. She always talked about how her problems were unfixable
The only unfixable problem was the web of lies she built around her ostensible MS and cancer, and around her being a more accepting person than she was. It was hypocrisy all the way down, and the net function of this was that I had no room for my sensory overload, my issues from my autism. And I didn't dare tell my mom anything about me being LGBTQ, because I knew it would have just been used against me.
I only had the room to become myself after she finally fucking died. And really, now that she isn't around to maltreat me, I feel completely 100% comfortable in saying what I actually feel about her.
She was a mentally ill person who refused to get help and instead lashed out at the people around her. She took a sadistic joy in breaking the people around her, literally laughing at me when I was crying. And I really can't forgive that. She was the most mean spirited person I had the displeasure of knowing. And really, I'm just grateful I don't have to deal with her anymore. Rest in piss, bitch.
Also, she would mock me in a homophobic manner when I was younger because I had a certain speech issue. It was terrible and I can't even bear to listen to people's impressions of gay people anymore because of it
