I'm sorry (no not sorry lol) but I'm trimming down this shit to the orgs who will stand unconditionally against fascism, not the ones who are happy to pick a side within fascism.
@dalias Wait, what?? Wow. He's been an advocate for workers rights and all that, but I suppose I shouldn't be surprised an economist comes with a blindside. Economists seem to be perpetually shock-faced every time socioeconomics explains some long-standing economic mystery. 😞
I haven't been following his content closely; do you have a handy link to the immigration piece? [totally fine if not or you'd rather not, I'll run across it at some point]
Aside: if you're making an org whose original purpose is to advance the values of Democratic voters (not party leaders), your bylaws should probably bar persons who've served in any administration of in leadership roles in the party from ever serving in leadership or spokesperson roles (including the board) in the org. Otherwise you're setting up to be coopted/compromised after a few cycles.
