Just read yesterday that a guy on death row selected firing squad for his execution. Never thought much about it before, but it got me wondering about what caliber and shot placement.
I've probably used exponentially rather than quadratic without even realizing it. Just not in my vocab wheelhouse. But I would also think it a compliment if someone called me reasonably smart.
I assume the Pentagon will take their billions increase sooner rather than later. But yeah, that's how the buck gets passed.
I really don't know what is going on here. I honestly don't think Trump is involved with the tax cuts so much. I see his priorities as major increase in defense and border spending. Everything else is advisors talking to lobbyists and shuffling the deck hoping for a good CBO score to enable more spending.
Of course not. And forgive me, but I'm jaded and cynical about every tax and spend bill since Bush Jr. Trump did this shit in his first administration when R controlled both houses. Always had an excuse to spend like crazy, paid off his major donors, then got nothing in return except higher deficit. Why are they negotiating a bill like they need Dem votes? The no tax on SSA didn't make it into the House bill, but jeesh. Trump is trying to give the wealthiest generation of narcissists a tax break? The fact this was even on the table tells me all I need to know about his advisors who put this Big Bullshit Bill together.
There are some provisions I like, but no tax on tips (industry dominated by the left). SALT tax deduction going from $10k to $40k deduction so we subsidize high tax blue states. Not a fan of the student loan overhaul either. Trump is playing debt collector for his jew buddies on that one and increasing their estate tax exemption to 15 mil. So, definitely not a bill I would vote for.
This clown's premise is all fake and wrong. Residential suburbs are not zoned commercial. You don't have a shopping center and mall right smack dab in the middle of your neighborhood. However, this is what happens in the middle of every major city...on purpose...by shitlib city planners.
Alright, I'll admit that my bias is in describing Midwestern suburbs. I don't know anything about what western states are doing. But he specifically mentioned "suburbs", and this has a distinct definition. Our towns and cities have embraced the "mixed use space" with condos and apartments in retail shopping areas (as if that's new).
But this is NOT suburban in the Midwest. Our burbs are generally green lawns with swing sets, backyard pools, and bike/kid friendly sidewalks. But don't tell anybody our secret, ok. 👍
Same. I also realized that individualism/libertarianism, is what leads to a selfish, decaying, immoral society. I am against the states corrupt use of the drug war. But I used to agree with Ron Paul and think, sure, legalize all drugs. Now I know that the laws should protect the weakest among us who are incapable of self control.
