     @matty @Gideon @HockeyDoxie 22lr only starts to really drop and tumble at about 150yd, it'd be quite the shot but you could hit it.
     
     223 is 4-600yd before the same thing happens

     At that range with a 22LR, the tragectory would be more down than level. You'd be shooting a mortar at that point.

     It may very well be fake. But it sounded like a 22lr caliber, and from 150-200 yrs, that round is traveling pretty dang slow by the the time it gets to the podium.
