I know people like to use "disagreements with the company" as a way to claim that Hololive is evil, it's the jews, etc. Has anyone considered in the case of Nimi, she took a hard look at how in the post black stream era packing up your audience and taking it with you is a real possibility particularly if that audience is as dedicated as hers is? That combined with the commodity price of tech and the various non-corpo sponsored events and concerts probably led her to ask for a better financial cut. Being a spergy japanese company they probably said no, and here we are.

@istvan I've come to expect USA made with poor quality in machine tools simply because the high baseline costs imposed by labor and finance results in margins being taken from the material quality and design. The results are small machines like this from Thailand and China are more durable now on a dollar for dollar basis.

Hostile landscaping, no sidewalks and city ordinances that basically make it illegal to be outside finish the package.

Military advantages look shaky too with a navy that crashes into freighters, getting run out by sand people tribes, and the mediocre performance of what's supposed to be our wonder weapons in Ukraine. GDP is equally made up with half of it being made up imputations such as "owner equivalent rent" or "goodwill"

@skylar @anemone @mischievoustomato My few facepalm moments with Kir is when I'm reminded that both her political deep dive focus begins and ends with BRIDGE, and that she has woman brain. Its always painful when she brings up something that has been discussed for a few years in the WN spaces and seems not read in on it, like with the O9A tab the other day. I get her reluctance to branch out in media source (time, and realworld gore makes her cry) but sometimes I wish there was a little more show prep.
