The first one was part of Germany (Austria/HRE) and a traditional German territory, Ukraine was conquered in the war against the USSR, and the low countries and Nordics were both taken in the process of fighting France and Britain.

It wasn't a peacetime "claim" made by the German state that they need to possess these lands (except Cz).

If the German government of the time randomly started insisting that Cuba was necessary for German strategic interests, that would be quite different.

You could claim that the US is at war with Russia and then I'd agree with the comparison tbh, although ofc, as you say, Hitler was cool and good and Trump is evil and zogged and also cringe and obese and also lame and gay.

But even then, the German entrance into the world war was done by two world powers declaring war on her (no a ~3 week border war with Poland doesn't count as a world war), whereas America's opposition to Russia is typical power blocs in peacetime using proxies, without immediate force of war compelling her.:shrug_g1:

@yockeypuck @___eb__ His claim is correct though. The invasion of Poland was done for the reasons he said. That, in the process of the (defensive) resulting world war, other countries were conquered doesn't invalidate that at all.

Fuentes's comparison of Trump taking Greenland is dumb. Why not make the moral case for why it's dumb and why Hitler was right?

My Argentinian friends are laughing about the English speaking internet calling the American abduction of Maduro, "The Operation".

It would be more difficult and costly to do this to some random Iraqi militia or Taliban enclave in Afghanistan (during the American occupation).

Caracas is a slum and the Venezuelan military isn't capable at all. This is what they are saying. I convey this to you, my fedifriends.
