The photos coming out of Gaza of babies, children and adults starved to death by Israel could be mistaken for those witnessed in the Nazi concentration camps. This is a modern day Dachau - a camp where there were no gas chambers, but people were shot and starved to death. There is hundreds of tons of food waiting to enter Gaza but Israel has chosen mass genocide. Feck every single western leader who is turning a blind eye to this and still supporting Israel.

@darnell hate to tell you but this isn’t one sided. Iran shot down another Israeli jet and drones last night and Haifa, Tel Aviv, Bat Yam and Herzliya look like war zones with huge structural damage. Israel is reporting it’s running low on defensive Arrow interceptors, which the USA cannot replace at this moment. The Meron airbase, in northern Israel was hit overnight as was the Israeli Mosad building (equiv to Pentagon). Israel has now made it illegal to report on damage.

It is now estimated Trump has a 66% chance of being elected. Trump has a low approval rating, but to counter him it does seem illogical that the Dems have renominated someone with an equally low approval rating. Every gaff Biden makes now will cast doubts in soft Dem voters.

@CloudyMrs the danger is if he wins Clacton he will have a bigger platform and you can see Reform getting greater traction in England. Just need to look at Le Pen and Wilders in France & the Netherlands. Been a slow burn but they do have considerable support. Add to that the influence from the far right in the USA which will only increase if Trump is sucessful.

The difference is most developed nations know preventative medicine is cheaper than sick patients. That a healthy person is better for the economy than a sick one. The USA monetarises everything and puts business before people. Income and wealth inequality is higher in the USA than in almost any other developed country

@mike805 @Lassielmr @freemo he was indeed. Every single freedom fighter in history has been called a terrorist by those they are trying to break away from. Their actions may be abhorrent to us not involved, but when that freedom is eventually achieved and history looks back there is a trail of evidence that it was never once sided. My own maternal grandparents fought for Irish Independence. My father a German Jewish holocaust survivor. Oppression runs deep in my family.

@freemo @mike805 indeed. As it is unsurprising South Africa are leading the world in calling for justice. Israel is an apartheid state and with lack of rights and suppression it was inevitable that tinderbox would alight. Remember Mandela was once considered a terrorist. What Hamas did was deplorable but the response is beyond acceptable.
