Authorities have identified a 22-year-old white man named Tyler Robinson as the suspect who murdered Charlie Kirk.

As SCOTUS permits racial profiling of Latinos for ICE targeting, a reminder of this harsh truth—the Supreme Court's near entire history is grounded in advancing white supremacy.

In an alternate universe, McConnell, Garland, Meuller, and Biden had the courage and integrity to convict Trump, and he’s spending his final days behind bars, while America is still moving forward instead of regressing back to the Jim Crow era of white supremacist violence and fascism. Sigh…

I regularly get death threats. I've had to go to federal court to testify against the man who wanted to kill me and my children. I have never responded by calling for violence against those who seek to harm me, & certainly never against any block of people.

We have no idea who killed Kirk, and may not for a while. But speculation only creates more chaos. And we don't create peace by demanding an eye for an eye.

If we want peace, take this moment to thoughtfully reflect, not seek blind revenge.

It's not only okay, but an obligation to call out the hypocrisy.

Trump is ordering flags at half staff for Kirk's murder.

Yet, two months after the murder of MN Speaker Melissa Hortman he's refused to so much as call the Hortman family or MN Governor Walz, and instead took out time to mock them.

Vile hypocrisy doesn't facilitate peace, it enables more violence.

Hannah Arendt said 'The death of human empathy is one of the earliest and most telling signs of a culture about to fall into barbarism.'

We saw the recent cruelty of MAGAs denying empathy to Melissa Hortman.

Empathy for Kirk—not because he ever acted like a decent human—but because we are decent humans.

Jerry Seinfeld just spoke at Duke and said that the "Free Palestine" movement is worse than the KKK, because the KKK is honest that they hate Black people and Jews.

Free Palestine movement includes Jews, Christians, and Muslims. It's focused on the principle that a foreign nation shouldn't illegally & militarily occupy land that isn't theirs.

KKK is a 160 year old white supremacist terrorist org that mass murders Black people.

Seinfeld defending the KKK proves only his overt white supremacy.

Western media has completely ignored this story.

Israel’s Supreme Court just ruled that the Israeli Govt is intentionally depriving thousands of Palestinian prisoners of even a minimum amount of food for daily subsistence.

Israel holds ~10,000 Palestinians hostage—without charge, trial, or conviction. Now Israel's own Supreme Court rules that the Israeli Govt is starving them. Is Israel's Supreme Court now "Hamas" too?

These Are War Crimes. Western Media remains silent & shamefully complicit.

Understand the timeline here:

1. Trump announced that he's coordinated a peace deal between Israel and Hamas and demanded Hamas come to the table to finalize it

2. Hamas came to the table and met in Qatar to mediate and finalize the peace deal

3. With Trump's support and coordination, Israel bombed the Hamas negotiators who were there for Trump's peace deal

These are war crimes. If you still believe "retrieving the hostages" was ever a priority for Israel, then you're lying to yourself.

SCOTUS: We stopped Affirmative Action because you cannot target based on race

So, stop legacy admissions?
SCOTUS: NO

Stop white Afrikaaner "refugees?"
SCOTUS: NO

Stop targeting Latino Americans
SCOTUS: NO

Stop over-policing Black communities?
SCOTUS: NO

Allow Afghan refugees?
SCOTUS: NO

Allow South Korean workers?
SCOTUS: NO

So, targeting based on race is OK when giving white people unfair advantages but NOT OK when giving Black & brown people equal access?
SCOTUS: YES FINALLY YOU GET IT.

The Government of South Korea followed US immigration law.

The US based Hyundai employers followed US immigration law.

The immigrant workers at SC Hyundai plant followed immigration law.

And ICE fascists raided them anyway, without any regard for US immigration law, due process of law, or basic human dignity.

Proving yet again that it was never about “coming here legally.” It was always about shutting down non-white immigration and advancing white nationalist Christianity.

SCOTUS & MAGA abolished affirmative action because universities cannot use race when determining admissions but allowed legacy admissions because it massively benefits white students but abolished DEI because of the lie of meritocracy but allowed profiling Latinos for ICE raids.

One word: FASCISM.

Today on a shadow docket the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that Trump's ICE fascists can use ethnicity as a ‘relevant factor’ when furnishing reasonable suspicion to detain people, specifically citing Latino ethnicity.

No mention of the ~600K mostly white Canadian & European undocumented immigrants.

This is what fascism looks like.

A few hours ago I received a violent series of texts on my private cell, threatening me because I'm speaking up for Palestine.

They sent me a home address I used to live at, said they'll "wipe me off the street" and are backed by Canary Mission.

This is how fascists defend genocide.

Trump issued an Executive Order to "remove divisive anti-American content" from museums, & now US Holocaust Museum is "temporarily" removing an exhibit on how the US Government rejected Jewish refugees from escaping Nazi genocide. (Oh, and remember, the Govt gladly gave visas to actual literal Nazis).

But yeah, I'm sure this is all a coincidence and not fascism whitewashing one of the most cruel policies of American history that is now being revived against refugees from Afghanistan and Gaza.

A Florida court detained a US Citizen of Latino ethnicity for being an "illegal immigrant." He showed the court proof of citizenship. The court agreed he's a Citizen—but held him in jail anyway. As a human rights lawyer, I criticized the ruling online as unjust.
