On Election Day I want to point out that Merrick Garland was one of the most ineffective AGs in modern US history, and had he done his job, we wouldn't have a man responsible for an insurrection on the ballot in 2024, and I hope history remembers Garland's failures accordingly.

I need everyone to understand that the fight doesn't end today with a Trump loss, it begins today. Today is the first day of undoing decades of harm, and then affirmatively building institutions of justice for ALL people—here and abroad. Let's win today, let's breathe a sigh of relief, and then let's be ready to work relentlessly tomorrow. That's the only way forward.

The last 48 hours alone demonstrates how badly legacy media is failing us.

There was more coverage of Biden's dumb comment calling people "garbage"—than there was combined coverage of Trump calling to assassinate Liz Cheney, Trump mimicking fellatio during a rally, multiple more women credibly accusing Trump of sexual assault, and Epstein recordings confirming Trump's close alliance to him.

Legacy media's obsession with "both sides'ism" will be the death of democracy itself.

Watching MAGAs panic at the thought that women might vote opposite their husbands reminds me that after no fault divorce was legalized in 1970, female suicide rates dropped 20%

The "strong 1950s family unit" that GOP is nostalgic about ignores record high female suicide, suffocating DV, & 0 female financial autonomy.

GOP was always about control of women, and nothing about that has changed today.

Today Trump "worked" at McDonald's and I got to thinking that the irony of Trump's McDonald's photo op is that:
•As a convicted felon he can't actually work at McD's as they don't hire felons
•As POTUS he blocked a $15 min wage that would've helped countless McD's employees
•As POTUS he weakend McD's employees ability to Unionize, keeping them economically powerless

And now she shows up at McD's to pretend like he's a common man. In reality, his photo op is 100% fraud—which tbh defines him well
