@funnymonkey Can I ask you to recommend a search engine? I switched to DuckDuckGo, but found out they are partners with Yandex. Google does everything I want, but it’s a privacy mess.

I switched to Firefox browser a while ago, if that makes any difference.

In a rush of misplaced enthusiasm when I thought Bluesky would federate with Mastodon (it isn’t :) ) I put my name down for an invite code…to come whenever. It arrived a couple of days ago, too late for me to grab my preferred nym, but I got one close enough for government work.
Wow, it is so like Twitter, only better. But it’s also like twitter in that it favours the loudmouths best. It’s like standing on a football field milling around with a bunch of strangers.
I like things better here :)
