@Lana I guess the next step would be to ask if Benito "Il Duce" Mussolini was fascist? And if they say no, begin adult guardianship proceedings.

@botvolution I'm not going to hold my breath. ...Is what I would say if I had lungs. One doesn't wait for the perfect breeze to drop spores.

I'm still waiting for a journalism distributor to break with the mass-media editorial lockstep, and instead of saying "conservative activist" try "fascist organizer" or "fascist propagandist" on for size.

I think we have enough credible sources and witness reports now. Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was definitely shot in the neck at Utah Valley University during a student Q&A event. UVU is in Orem, Utah. A suspect is alive in custody, and the condition of Kirk is generally unreported.

(R) officials in the executive administration are decrying political violence and calling for prayers.
The political violence started by deploying federal agents and federalized militia against US residents. By defunding and depopulating agencies managing statutory entitlement benefits. By suspension of due process.
Fuck around; find out. Yes, we will shoot fascists and their collaborators. This is what happens when the elite aristocracy declares war upon the commoners.

@michelestrider Going with the traditional fungal job of providing food, medicine, and recreational drugs gratis to anyone who knows where to find me--and also knows how to tell whether I am in a lifesaving or murdering mood.

A man in Texas shot and killed a kid playing ding dong ditch. If you're not familiar, that is a game where the player--usually a child--rings a doorbell, then runs away and hides before the door opens. Being shot in the back is not an expected outcome. This place is not okay.

@negative12dollarbill @Lana Animal fats are mostly octadecanoic acid (stearic acid) with three of those bonded to a glycerol as stearin. Basically C18H36O2 + 26 O2 -> 18 CO2 + 18 H2O. The oxygen (most of it) comes in from atmospheric breathing gas. The CO2 departs during exhalation.

@GhostOnTheHalfShell @economics-that-works The best counterplay I see is to abandon settlement of trade with US dollars, and use credit issued via trust networks for small-scale trade and enforceable commodity futures contracts for larger trades (explicitly excluding carbon fuels). There would be a lot of collapse in businesses dependent on dollar-economy settlement. The dollar has rotted out its own foundation, and its now dedicated to burning coal for no constructive purpose.

@GhostOnTheHalfShell @economics-that-works There is also a velocity effect. Currency at rest is worth less than currency in motion. Enforced inflation rewards private hoards, which affect the velocity of money nearest to them. In this, the fiat controller is barely distinguishable from a hoard of nigh-infinite fiscal mass.
TL;DR: the value of money is not constant, and it is frequently manipulated to unfairly get more goods and services out of us.

@GhostOnTheHalfShell @economics-that-works Taxes work hand-in-glove with inflationary issuance of new fiat currency. Those who spend it first can exchange it at the earlier higher value. Taxes remove the devalued currency from circulation to avoid hyperinflation. The net result is to transfer purchasing power from those most distant from government spending and bank lending, to those closest to it.

@GottaLaff That's the guidance for firearm engagements, which are always considered lethal force. The center column gives the force escalation steps
1. Looking tough.
2. Yelling.
3. Wrestling and grappling.
4. Electric shock.
5. Punching and batons.
6. Shoot to kill. And judging by the chart, their arming order only goes up to using pistols, so the rifles and shotguns are just for show?
The posse comitatus act section is bottom of middle column: no arrests, no investigations, etc.

@pixplz @dalias The worst part is that they made me think I was bad at language arts, when in reality I was bad at subduing my own will to academic authority enough to complete assignments that I thought were invalid time-wasters at a foundation level. It was years later before I even attempted writing something I would enjoy reading myself.

@pixplz @dalias The reason literary analysis is mostly done on classic literature is because the authors are too dead to say, "I didn't intend anything of the sort. I wrote this for my grocery money and based the main character on people I knew when I was younger."
All of my literature assignments--from book reports to literary analysis--sucked the joy out of reading the source material. I thought they were bullshit then, and never collected any evidence that would revise that opinion.

+ Your pickles always be piled on one side of the burger.
+ All shall treat you as though they were your teenaged child.
+ Your car will slowly leak oil such that it costs more to fix than getting a replacement car, but putting more oil in is only like $10 a month.
+ Something in your home smells funny, but disappears as soon as you start searching for the source.
+ Well, actually, I'm kind of doing you a favor here.... -

@puppygirlhornypost2 @cwebber Not bad. For neurodivergents such as myself, sometimes an external influence by a chemical assistant is required to produce beneficial results. Neurotypicals can stigmatize it if they like, but I'm not going to live by their standards any more.

@cwebber Why did my alarm for potential circular reference go off? Better add "any other license that currently appears" and "except this license" in there somewhere. Some of us would be puckish enough to add an all-license metalicense to one of the incorporated-by-reference lists.
