    Following up on what you said though, Bowsac: This paper (linked) appears in its abstract to imply more than one gene. (I'm not suggesting they're accurately measuring anything to any degree.)

    I can't see beyond the abstract to be more sure because of the paywall.

    Yes, the cost saving is immense.
    I cut our steaks (both beef and lamb) by hand and freeze them. (We live in an apartment atm. No slicer space.)

    I used to work in a butcher shop, and this guy would come and ask us to slice rump roast because he made his own jerky. I haven't tried that myself, but it sounded fun. (I'm not even sure rump roast is what you should optimally use lol. He grabbed what was cheap and not too lean like eye of round or too fatty like chuck roast.) Maybe you and your kids would have fun with that. Different flavors or something!

    You may have done that before. I remember you salting lamb/mutton. I've never had salted or cured lamb, but that sounds tasty.

    Had a similar dawning of my use/place recently. Someone said they don't imagine I look like a skinhead. Made me realize the circles of people I've been able to draw toward just because I look like a normie (at least broaching passed any first hesitation--let alone the one I'll cause by my words lmao). You wouldn't think twice walking by me in a grocery store.

    After painful study I have found the reason that @ceo_of_monoeye_dating 's 2024 bingo card is prophetic.

    It's very hard to attain depth perception by a single eye (even the searing singularity eye). However, at that cost, he sees all probabilities at once as if projected onto a flat plane.

    In other words, what I'm trying to say is...
