@seabikeblog fatsos would benefit from walking and biking. Only the capitalists that sell the construction to local governments benefit from bike paths and transit "improvements." -

@Suiseiseki for many conspiracy theorists there is no amount of evidence that will ever convince them they are wrong. Even when they are "just asking questions." A few years ago I had a conversation with some folks who were calling for a new investigation into 9/11. I asked why. I asked what would they do if a new commission still came back with Islamic terrorists did it. They'd demand another one. Blind faith in government is bad, but blind faith against it isn't any better. I think that's why so many people who believe one conspiracy, tend to believe in a lot, even those that contradict each other. In conversation from mustard.mod permalink -

@ForBritain Narcissism isn't about putting yourself first. A person who constantly puts the needs of others before their own (especially if these are in conflict) is either low-esteem or doing it to achieve some sort of victimhood/martyrdom status (which is also narcissistic).
A healthy self-regard to ones talents, abilities, skills, needs, wants and desires is not narcissistic.
Narcissism is about being self-obsessed and blind to the needs of anyone else so they are not even in the equation. It often comes with sociopathy and Machiavellianism which makes it especially nasty. In conversation from spinster.xyz permalink Repeated by gnu2 -

The biggest advantage I see to self driving cars, other than increased safety, is alliveiating parking issues. My car can drop me off at the baseball game, drive back home, and then pick my drunk ass up in 3 hours. In conversation from Qvitter permalink -
