Früher konnte man seine Gegner noch mit nem Telefon k.o. schlagen, heute wird das schwierig.

Musste ne Amazonrücksendung bei Agip abgeben und es gab an der ganzen Tankstelle keinen freien Platz der nicht an einer Tanksäule war oder die Zufahrt zu einer Tanksäule blockiert hat.

Rache für all die Male, wo ein Verbrenner eine der nur vier Ladesäulen in der Innenstadt blockiert hat :-P

(Wobei die hätten auch 20m weiter ins Parkhaus hätten fahren können.)

Our two-panel balcony solar hit 250kWh since being installed in July 11 weeks ago. An average of 3.25kWh per day harvested.

Just a few days ago we had a very sunny autumn day with a record 5.2kWh in a single day.

I’m very impressed. We’re probably not using all of it (our energy meter is not smart yet), but it should help with some of our consumption.

I swear to gods some people think that Roko's Basilisk is going to wake up tomorrow, even though most of what has been counted as "advancement" for spicy autocomplete lately is that they've inserted hundreds of recursive layers of prompts to try to get it to stop doing the weird shit it tends to do.

"AI" can't do shit on its own. It's not a gods damned threat.

The threat is the people who will use AI to cause destruction, some knowingly & some "unknowingly" (in the sense that if you plug your ears & close your eyes, it's very hard for someone to warn you).

It's not the "AI".

"AI" is going to start being blamed for everything with a "well, what are ya gonna do?" attitude as if the most obvious answer in the world isn't right there.

What are we gonna do? Not use this AI! How about that?

I have been listening to the radio today, & in each news slot I've heard someone talking about how Burnham needs to stop funding something else in order to improve social care, because you can't just keep raising taxes, & I am just desperate for someone to ask "WHY NOT?"

So basically this is me shouting my response into the void.
