Every hero has a details screen where you can check out their cosmetics, abilities, lore, and more. On the lore screen, every character has a signature. Most are just basic cursive or type.
Check out Widow, she's in Russian. Really, check out all the characters, it's a fun detail.
I would like to speak to the Manager of Nameplates in #MarvelRivals so they can explain why every character in the new season pass got an animated Nameplate except Rocket
and, as a follow-up, ask why they hate Rocket with all their being
and, as an extra follow-up question, why they were allowed to become Manager of Nameplates for Marvel Rival despite the fact they hate Rocket with all their being
Somehow this is the first time I’ve seen people post a gaming screenshot from an ultrawide display and people poked fun at it (since it’s harder to see the detail OP asked about) 😆
@chris Hrm. I thought about that one too, but it doesn’t really fit the “Slasher” category it’s in. Yeah Scarecrow is spooky, but Jason and Scream Guy (or whatever) like, hack people to pieces. I’m not sure that’s what Bungie’s going for there.
I assumed Ken Levine left Irrational/Take Two because of studio tension or disagreement, didn't realize he was going through all this. What a rough ride.
Still, as a fan, it's nice to get some closure on what happened. Looking forward to Judas and I guess some other studio working on a #Bioshock 4.
@JTO_is_Typing Can dig for them later. But off the top of my head, I remember Bungie confirming this in a roundabout way during a talk at.... GDC? I think? Years ago, back when sunsetting came to #Destiny2
Was just reminded of the fact that #CallOfDuty and #Activision as a company learned long ago to weaponize the install size of their games.
(Ex)developers have confirmed this in interviews.
Once Activision made the connection between 1) Many, if not most, gamers have limited storage space, which 2) forces them to make tough decisions about which games to keep around, an evil light bulb went off.
Activision implemented policies to deliberately balloon the size of their games in order to push other games off players' systems.
They can't lose players to competing games if those games can't even be installed.
I don't play a ton of hero shooters, but #MarvelRivals has clicked with me. However
I love how these games try to sell MVP poses for Support/Strategist characters when they *have* to be the least common to receive an MVP at the end of a match
Like, yeah. I wish MVP would sometimes take healers into account. At the same time, watching someone heal other people doesn't exactly make for great, watchable gaming clips.
Destiny Warlock. Pro at falling off cliffs while aiming. My nephew said I should start streaming, so here we are. I love to laugh. Gamertag of @chartier he/him #VideoGames #Destiny2 #BLM #TransRights #equity
