“ #Nintendo #Switch2… Bringing New Forms of Game Communication to Life”
No. Nintendo finally got over its arrogant, sheltered pretentiousness just a little bit and finally added a 20+ year old chat feature to its next console

@ChrisFerguson Yeah, I just have a stick up my butt about Nintendo. I’ve really soured on it as a company over all the consumer hostile crap it pulls.
@InfiniteHench You okay?
@ChrisFerguson Yeah but stuff like shutting down tournaments, going after people for playing 30 year old games that can't even be bought anymore?
Shortsighted and just plain selfish business decisions
Being intentionally terrible at social features, refusing to add game chat to the original Switch and now acting like it's some amazing new feature 20+ years after it's been on the market?
Chiidish
@InfiniteHench personally, I see it as more of them trying to protect their IP (their most valuable asset) rather than them trying to hurt their customers. I know it can be viewed as anti-consumer, but I try and give the benefit of the doubt there regarding their intent. I do think the creative arm at Nintendo cares about their customers at least.
