@InfiniteHench I think all the traditional console makers are realizing that it's getting harder and harder to compete with phones and to make money on hardware. I think Xbox might exit the hardware game completely, like Sega and others have done.

@InfiniteHench I'm not going to buy either, but it's a hard sell for me to want a Switch 2 over a Steam Deck. I could pay $80 for one of a handful of launch titles or I could buy a gazillion games on sale through Steam. Or games I own through other marketplaces, or free to play games.
I know they're not traditionally thought of as competitors to one another, but they kinda inhabit the same space functionally and price-wise. If I didn't already have a desktop PC, I'd be Steam Deck all the way.
