You're too concerned with changing that state.
You will never be sinless.

The idea is that you're forgiven (no further action).

Our difference is in answering "Who is forgiven? How could that happen?"
Most Christians answer that by adding an additional step (whatever subset of: believe, accept, do works, confess, be a member).

Edit: The additional step then says who is forgiven and therefore who is saved (rather than what the prophets prophesied and Christ accomplished)
