    @MK2boogaloo @BowsacNoodle it's been in use in lower dosages for controlling certain aspects of T2 diabetes for a while and they haven't gotten any crazy problems like super cancer or holes in the brain yet. I suspect long term down regulation of hormone receptors on the gut can't be without problems but it doesn't look like a thalidomide sort of problem

    @MK2boogaloo @BowsacNoodle it's a glp-1 receptor agonist, so it messes with how your body handles insulin response and digestion speed. It's been reworked into a weight loss drug and it and other weight loss drugs have made incredible amounts of money for their manufacturers

    tbh i only go out frequently because i'm travelling and i'm not paying, the boss is

    my family offers to take me out when i visit but honestly i can outcook the sysco truck any day of the week and have fun doing it

    this weekend i ground out burgers from scratch out of short rib, as well as made pasta from scratch for my ma's lunch and some shrimp enchiladas starting from live shrimp for the kids

    i went to a bar over the weekend and took the bill. it was like $8-10 a beer. worthless
    the only way it works out is in economically depressed places like penssylvania during happy hour where it clocks down to $4 or so mediocre pints
    these days when people want to drink beer socially they go to breweries
