     I was at a restaurant last weekend and the price for even a domestic pint of pisswater was $7-8, so I stuck with a water. Even restaurants now are charging $3.50 for a fucking soda :iminsane:

     i went to a bar over the weekend and took the bill. it was like $8-10 a beer. worthless
     the only way it works out is in economically depressed places like penssylvania during happy hour where it clocks down to $4 or so mediocre pints
     these days when people want to drink beer socially they go to breweries

     My grocery can sell liquor without an attached but physically separate liquor store. So, usually I do that because if I go to a negro or a jeet gas station they upcharge the fuck out of me for whiskey. It's like a 1.5x as expensive.

     tbh i only go out frequently because i'm travelling and i'm not paying, the boss is
     
     my family offers to take me out when i visit but honestly i can outcook the sysco truck any day of the week and have fun doing it
     
     this weekend i ground out burgers from scratch out of short rib, as well as made pasta from scratch for my ma's lunch and some shrimp enchiladas starting from live shrimp for the kids
