      Yeah, it was funneled through the BIS from American banks. That's why every US brand was doing business with them, because they were totally flush with dollars.

      They did exactly what they were "supposed" to do. They sacked Europe and rounded up all of the gold, so that the Americans could come in at the last moment and snatch it while taking control over Europe.

      They also provided the world with a false dialectic, the REAL Germany was defeated and colonized after WW1, everything since then has been an organized genocide of the German people & culture.

      Yes, there was a lot of humiliation and suffering among the Germans following WWI. I believe this is what enabled WWII to rally them into a collective effort in order to rebuild.

      War followed when Hitler decided to act on the part of his countrymen being abused and defiled in Poland, but it is true. The war financiers were all likes. Hitler was able to obtain loans in order to fund the war effort.

      The political dynamics of Austria-Hungary are also an area of interest that blends the deeds of the royal bloodlines.

      All of the stuff we are dealing with today has over a century of lore most people have no clue how to parse. Only reduction.

I've spitballed my idea of a dual currency system for smaller nations whereby they can prevent a hostile takeover of their hard currency by larger foreign actors. Such a system would require fiat and hard currency in tandem.

Most of the history of gold standard became ledgers payable and netted between governments and banks because governments were tired of their gold shipments being raided over the water. For most of the world gold standard was still a debt instrument not an asset account.

Loans with reimbursement of interest coupons paid to citizens were issued to nudge society towards the direction they wanted— get women back as homemakers having more babies and help families in the process. It wasn't just pulling imaginary feel good numbers out of their rear. We know that because it worked. They had an unprecedented economic recovery with industry that held despite a global recession. It wasn't going to last forever, but it wasn't designed to. It was designed to be a defibrillator to a nation in cardiac arrest.

      actually the way Germany did it is they froze wages, eliminated collective bargaining, and privatized a lot of businesses but kept them aligned with the government and it got the country out of the great depression faster than any other country. They then used this to improve social programs for their citizens

      I find gold to have no real intrinsic value besides being a good conductor. You can't eat it. It doesn't sustain life. When shit hits the fan are you more likely to accept a trade from someone who has a bottle of water or a gold bullion? It all still relies on a functional infrastructure to have any value.       @nugger @doctorsex @placebo @Jonaschuzzlewit @SK1ZM @Scot_Paladin @WilhelmIII @bobbala @d0c40r0 @matty @cjd @BowsacNoodle @EssentialUtinsil @plotinus_enjoyer @stoner713 years ago a couple of friends invited me to lunch. they took me to a buffet and assured me its great because its basically unlimited steak. after eating we get up to leave and as i walk out the door i hear a horrible retching sound followed by the unmistakable sound of vomit splashing across commercial grade carpet. everyone just stands there and stares at him, feeling increasingly sick, as he plasters the hostess stand and entranceway. fighting through the smell i hurry out the door and wait for them, as soon as he walks out he just says "i almost made it out the door this time" and another friend just replies "yeah way better than last time."

Right now, the promise to pay is upheld by men with guns who can put you in an 8x8 room if you don't pay them taxes in the currency of their choosing. It's kind of funny how fragile the whole system is if you look at it that way.
