@sickburnbro @PraxisOfEvil @Shadowman311 "what this performance did was delegitimize their entire ruling party in front of the world, it's pretty embarassing."
Maybe? As in, outside of the US political bubble, is this news to the rest of the world?? I don't know, but I'm sure its not for a lot of people, including those leaders who've been interacting with him, to the point of the Italian PM puling him back into the group of G7 leaders....
I'd also say the NYC [kangaroos are complaining] trial, the whole ludicrous lawfare mess is more delegitimizing, that's not how other countries of our stature do things. Much more like the BRICS and Second (Communist) and Third Worlds do it. But all this is indeed reducing our stature, but I'd go back at least to Team Obama starting the RUSSIA, _RUSSIA, RUSSIA!!! mess as an too obvious deflection from their political ineptitude.
All that said, we're not a dictatorship or whatever you want to call Russia, so a single man isn't so important. Continuing the above, it's been obvious others have been calling the shots (albeit pretty well aligned with the Joe Biden we've seen since the 1970s), so practically this doesn't make much difference. We're still "non-agreement capable" as Russia realized during the Obama Administration because of our factionalized Deep State.
Internally, this "debate" starts a five week countdown to replace Joe Biden on the ticket, August 7th is the deadline for Ohio ballots.
