@Hoss It appears they used FreeBSD 10.1 on the server which is 11 years old now. This conicides with the date of Hiroshimoot buying the site, so it's quite possible no one touched the server since, except maybe the devs that aren't allowed to touch anything except the site code itself. -

All those fNbbs'es are offshoots of some old forum dedicated to watching dotcom bubble burst, and when it finished the focus switched to just off-topic discussions. Later it closed down, its offshoots closed and reopened again with all the same people talking there as they were 20 years ago. -
