@powersoffour @mattblaze Checkpoints at all entrances to the Morningside quad since late March. Coincidentally (hah), I haven't been on the campus since about March 14.

I skate by 3-4 times a week, often around midnight, and it always amuses me to see 6 or 7 security dudes handing around an entrance with nothing to do except play Candy Crush.

@FlashMobOfOne @jgordon Always interesting to compare diploma sizes from different institutions. My BS diploma came in a folio roughly the WxH of a hardback book. My MS and PhD diplomas could be used as wallpaper. Instead, the latter two subsist rolled up in a tube in the corner of my office because who wants to spend what it could cost to frame them?

@LovesTha @Cassandra @danlyke The lack of traffic noise in NYC during the early COVID shutdown was a revelation. I can remember sitting on a bench in the Broadway median, drinking coffee and... listening to birds singing.

@Mastodon Still kind of "middle of the pack" of the six Mastodon iPhone apps I have installed (and that's after deleting a few that were trash). Would jump up to the top 2 or 3 if it would show me a list of the hashtags that I have followed.
