     If you're new to the Fediverse you may not have heard of Twitter, but it's a single-instance Fediverse prototype that many people were on back in 2008 before the real thing went live.
     
     It's still around and some people visit there still out of nostalgia, but it's really best to remember it fondly and don't let the memory be ruined by what it has become.
