Celebrate our neighbor. Celebrate the immigrants who have, and are, still making this nation better. Celebrate diversity, equality, and inclusion. Celebrate LGBTQ+ people. Celebrate Black Joy. Celebrate those with faith (and those without faith) that help others. Celebrate the people who were on this land before us. Celebrate the sharing of food and drink and conversation that have come from all over this world.
Celebrate America as she could be, not as she is.
Rushford Public Library has their Bike Share bicycles out to check out now.
Really great benefit of being a library card holder.
Before I met my wife, at a party, I mentioned I didn't really want children. A woman looked at me horrified and said, "You're a monster!" I didn't say anything because WTF?
Bridges of Fillmore and Houston Counties on the Root River Trail.
Bicycled from Rushford to Houston. Lunch, explored library & shops.
Houston Library had a free Minnesota State Parks pass. Since I'm a member of SELCO through the Rushford Library, I was able to get it. Only good till the 30th, but we'll try to use it.
Bicycled home, enjoyed a wonderful breeze.

Why did the duck cross the road?
To get pats on the head by my spouse.
And bite her toe when she stopped.
The *duck* will let you know when you're done.
Good catch.
Told my Spouse I was running late because I got grabbed by the bookstore.
But it auto corrected it to:
"I got stabbed by the bookstore".
But I wasn't even buying murder mysteries today!
I live in Rushford, Minnesota near the Root River Trail.
Moved here last Halloween night.
Except for the negative temperatures I'm enjoying it.
Artwork and words by K.C. Green as part of his comic strip "Gunshow"
I liked a lot of the costuming and set designs of "Starcrash".
It really sounded like three little boys on a playground making up everything as they went, continuity and purpose and scientific logic be damned. Which could be interesting to listen to. But definitely not to watch. Commentary made it fun.
I can absolutely see a lot of this movie being used in the animated show "Futurama", though.
I enjoy @adhdeanasl

Hey, American institutions. This is how it's done. "Scrub Nothing"!
Stop obeying in advance. Do not comply.
Hey, military, those aren't lawful orders. They're coming from traitors. Refuse to comply. Make backups. Of everything. You work for the constitution, the bill of rights, the people--not grifters who work for Russia.
Are there any other options besides Signal? Preferably libre software. Nothing against Signal, it just shouldn't be what *seems* to be the *only* best option.

So to defend against the deplorable American Nationalist Socialist people who've hijacked our country through legal trickery and too much wealth and outright villainy to hurt as many as they can, some people who've been against guns think getting guns may be *the* solution. No. It is only *one* solution of many. Knowing how they work and to take them apart and using them for hunting for food can help.

Best advice I had from the best boss I ever had was: Save everything. Every email, every letter, every post k-it note. Never volunteer for anything. Make sure your job is spelled out and nothing gets quietly added (got monumentally screwed on the last part when they refused to fill back necessary full time positions).
A post-it note signed by the person who was trying to get me into trouble for doing what they specifically asked me to do worked wonders.
I am not interested in replies to this. Post on your own account if you have issues with this.
In my own lifetime, the horrible decisions that messed up what could have been a good run of decades:
Ford pardoning Nixon.
Carter's warnings in that speech ignored.
Reagan ripping the solar panels off the white house.
Reagan destroying unions, starting with the union of air traffic controllers.

My spouse and her groups are all moving to Bsky. Couldn't get them to understand Mastodon or the fediverse and everyone they know jumped to bluesky because it seemed more familiar and most people they already knew were on it. There doesn't seem to be an equivalent to the "marketplace" there though, one of the main things they use it for.
Bicycles are transportation. Enjoy stories in many formats. Comic books and animation (2d, 3d, & stop motion) are favorite mediums. Former academic library staff. Enjoy most organizations that sees value in objects and works. Accession is an important step before curating and archiving.Diversity, equity, and inclusion is best He/Him who believe in the rights of LGBTQ peopleThe right to speak and post like a jerk does not absolve you of bad consequences.#nobridge #Nobots #NoAI #NoRobots
