You are immune to the scientific process in that you refuse to reevaluate anything after reaching a conclusion, or rather, after having one given to you by a seemingly authoritative source.
@jeffcliff@BowsacNoodle@Thusnelda@agaperealm@pepsi_man Exposure is wildly variable depending on how much a person consumes from fluoride-containing sources. Many people won't get the supposed benefit of consuming it, but others will, or they'll get more than they should. Especially children and infants, as they can easily get harmful levels even from "safe" concentrations in tap water.
People aren't getting appropriate doses for their body weight or respective needs, so it's not controlled. Simple as.
Using tap water as a delivery mechanism for any other medication or supplement would be terrible for many obvious reasons. I haven't even touched on the potential for harm to the environment or plants or other animals, but it's bad enough when you only consider the human side of the equation. Just have dentists and doctors administer it like we do for literally everything not over-the-counter.
But it is still poison. And overexposure is proven to be harmful. So it seems pretty reckless to put it in our water supply, where the dose can't be controlled.
@BowsacNoodle@mackya I've always thought that the world would be infinitely better off if everyone was a Christian. Not simply the belief, but exemplifying the values. That would include the rejection of what's evil and destructive and abnormal.
There's something of a transcendent state, a moral enlightenment found in understanding the value of opposing the modern evils we face. Call it God or whatever else, it's a real phenomenon.
@Humpleupagus@RustyCrab@binkle Try A2 milk. You can get it from Whole Foods. There's a difference in milk proteins that makes a big difference for some people, and it might for you. It also tastes way better than normal milk.
@IAMAL_PHARIUS I had five killtaculars in a row, killing nine people all within four seconds of each other, and I did that TWICE in a single game of Prisoner shotties, in a dorm room in 2003, and I have never been able to achieve that level of greatness since.
@Wormwood If only there was, like, a book or something that could give some kind of, like, moral framework for evaluating these kinds of things. Then maybe they could have a bunch of people devote their lives to studying it and have the guy who knows it best lead them all, and then he'd probably be good at applying it to real world situations.
@LukeAlmighty@suquili It's incredibly simple, but it's not easy. Just eliminate vegetable oils and added sugar from your diet entirely, and get a moderate amount of exercise. That's literally all you need to do. You don't need to starve yourself or eat terrible food or slave away at the gym. but you need to read labels on absolutely every single thing that goes into your body, and you'll have to find safe alternatives which can be a challenge when the overwhelming majority of all food is full of fattening garbage.
