     On a side note, it so bad here in California that CVS has a sign at the pharmacy that reads "we do not carry codeine with promethazine."

     @Humpleupagus @Bad_Banner @PensiveCowboy @absurdlyobfuscated I thought it was all prescription based syrup? I got some prescribed when I was hospitalized with a tonsil infection. Was there a time when that shit was over the counter? Or are you saying the Pharmacy just doesn't carry it AT ALL?

     I dunno for sure, but googling it, I see two concurrent reasons. First, robberies. Second, the california board of pharmacy is closely watching pharmacies that dispense that medication and has revoked licenses.
