>The Russian Aerospace Forces are putting into service the first class of air-to-air missiles with a nuclear warhead, writes Military Watch Magazine (https://inosmi.ru/20250522/raketa-273102013.html) . It is expected to be a new version of the R-37M munition. This will allow a single interceptor to neutralize enemy squadrons , entire groups of cruise missiles or large swarms of drones.
>"A nuclear-armed version of the R-37M could prove particularly useful against stealth aircraft such as the F-35, which the Western bloc and allied nations have deployed in significant and growing numbers along the country's European, Arctic and Far Eastern borders," the author of the article notes.
I didn't have nuclear air-to-air missiles in my checklist.
