    @themilkman @SuperDicq @Suiseiseki @King_Noticer @aperture I personally know people who have done hallucinogenic drugs, and you aren’t going to have a conversation with someone who is out of their mind outside of laughing at them being weird and out of it. I wouldn’t say anything like those are social drugs, moreso anti-social since it locks you into your own head.

    I also don’t consume alcohol so the appeal of it as a social drug is lost on me, but you can consume some without it radically altering your mental state.

    @SuperDicq @aperture @Suiseiseki @themilkman I definitely think there could be arguments that that is true; however, in a high trust society where everyone believes the others are working together towards the same goal I agree that society has an obligation to help, but we live in a low trust society where Jews import invaders to destroy us therefore helping the invaders with their addiction is counterproductive.

    @SuperDicq @themilkman @aperture @Suiseiseki @King_Noticer I agree that the conversation has turned towards more extreme examples which no one has argued for; however I just wanted to know your internal logic for personal choice and freedoms. I overall agree that most hallucinogenics aren’t particularly dangerous or life ruining and probably could be allowed, but eventually those kinds of arguments will be used to justify more extreme ones.

    @SuperDicq @aperture @Suiseiseki @themilkman My issue is that if someone chooses to destroy themselves with drugs and then the government has to pay to keep them alive then it isn’t just an issue of personal freedom. If you choosing to destroy yourself made it so people could let you die in the gutter when you OD and no one had to pay to remove your corpse that would be fine, but I don’t think that’s the world we live in currently. Overeating and other negative behaviors have similar issues.

    Ultimately my question to you is where does Freedom of the individual start and end and where does the individuals obligations to society start and end.
