sick, unfortunately i'm too zoomer brained to not have all the fancy shit, and chromium anything is just a fucking ram whore which got me thinking of switching to some firefox fork
if ya read the thread above, shed is something that finally works and can hold my whole x session to the point that my xinitrc (or .xsession in debian) is just exec shed and the thing does the rest, been polishing details, re-reading every function name to check if they make sense as well as reading and rewriting the docstrings, i just need to complete all documentation and it is something production ready-ish, as it cannot handle stuff like wayland (yet), nor having multiple selectable configs, nor falling back to default configs, nor xdg-autostart, etc... it lacks a number of features but the core is solid i think.
i could get lower mem usage on idle if i used a lighter window manager than awesomewm, didn't use picom, copyq (clipboard manager), i do wanna top using nm-applet but have not gotten around it in a good manner tho...
so in case my bullshit about me being able to live with just sysvinit and not needing any other init nor any implementation of user services cuz i got my own read like insane rambling, it doesn't, i have my own implementation of user-services/user-units whatever ya wanna call it which also doubles as my xsession process, it is written in pure posix shell except like 2 linux specific things so it should work in any unix-like os, https://github.com/eylles/shed
thanks to this thing my .xinitrc/.xsession is just
#!/bin/sh
. "$HOME/.profile"
exec shed
everything else like setting xdg dirs, vars, xrdb, starting my window manager, picom, pipewire, etc... is done by shed, the line count seems huge but i have variables with 5 lines of comments and functions with 10 lines of docstring-like comments so about 3/5ths of the line count are comments cuz i'm too stupid and retarded to know how the code works without them.
devuan has set in stone they will never implement age verification, i can use sysvinit no problem specially now that my custom session process is fully capable of managing my x session and user-services, i just need to write documentation now... but since i wrote that i will never need systemd nor need to look at stuff like runit, openrc, s6 or dinit, maybe i should look into making my stuff more integrated with sysvinit or at least making use of the libraries that debian has for initscripts, but that will definitely be for later.
if at some point the freedesktop.AgeVerification1 interface becomes a requirement for non gimped normie-net i'll just write my own daemon that spoofs that shit, from what i've read of the spec it ain't hard.
it's about suiseiseki loving to have the systemd shoved down his throat hard and without lube not caring that it was, is and will always be malware only because it got a GPL license.
he at least got a better take on GPL licensed malware than suiseiseki, whom will insist said malware is actually good to use because it is GPL licensed unlike proprietary malware
at this point i think the nasa space elevator budget from ages ago would be a fraction of all the money burnt in every middle eastern war for the last 50 years.
space will always be cheaper than fighting the wars of the jew overlords or funding the infinity niggers EBT card for new jordans every month, but space or science outside creating new fags will never be the priority for epstein and his friends whom are deeply entrenched ruling the world.
@Hoss@ceo_of_monoeye_dating@ElDeadKennedy can be either squid ink or powdered charcoal, there was a trend of stuff like icecream, burgers, chicken breading, etc that used charcoal for black coloring, dunno which would be cheaper to use in atlanta tho.
