    Am I the only one who finds it super hard to read LLM generated text? Every time someone sends me an email or documentation which was obviously generated by LLMs I need to read it 3-5 times to somehow get the actual information out of it from all of the unnecessary blah blah. To some degree I don't get it. Just writing out the few sentences by hand should not take that much time and would safe a lot of time on the other side...

    🚀 FluffyChat v1.23.0 is here!

    You can now send multiple files at once. The login page got a redesign with SSO as the new default action (legacy password login still available in the context menu at the top right corner).

    MAS account settings now available in the profile, making FluffyChat ready for the Matrix OIDC change! 💪

    Lot's of new colors and style settings with much better chat wallpapers also landed in this release. 🐾

    @silverpill @raphaelrobert @phoenix_r_d mimi is not from the open source community but from the big vendors like Meta or Google. Don't expect something like activitypub from it 😝

    @raphaelrobert @phoenix_r_d That solves the federation-problem but let me guess you are going to implement a new c2s protocol instead of using Matrix, XMPP or whatever we already have?

    @raphaelrobert @phoenix_r_d

    I knew it. 🙄 the typical story: you think you can do it better than everyone else. Increase fragmentation instead of improving what already is available. Spoiler: everyone is thinking the same and in the end you will re-invent the weel over and over again instead of bringing us forward.

    If you want to hide metadata, just help Matrix with encrypted state events.

    If you want MLS, help Matrix with their shift to it (already planned but lacks resources)

    @raphaelrobert @phoenix_r_d or help xmpp. At its core it is very minimal and flexible. You can invent new ways there to hide metadata, share it with the community, write XEPs and try to help everyone, adopting it.

    There ARE opportunities here. Of course starting from scratch makes more fun, but in the end you will run into the same walls, the others already ran again. Then you are forced to do compromises. And others will say, that you did bad decisions and they need to start from scratch

    I have removed the emoji_proposal feature from FluffyChat. It was this weird AI package which made proposals for emoji reavtions based on the message text (all locally). But in the end the proposals were never useful or fit to the message.

    Even more weird the AI very often just proposed one emoji: 😈 the devil emoji

    Kinda a satanic AI. Isn't it? Well at least the younger Krille, who listened to Heavy Metal the whole day in a room full of band merch would have loved this 🤘
