it works and it doesn't drift! phase sync doesn't seem to work perfectly, and if you don't start playing immediately after app start you get errors about scheduling events in the past, but i feel like both of those things are reasonably fixable

@mia@movsw.0x0.st ran a full btrfs scrub overnight and it came back clean + did not trigger any sata errors, so i guess reseating the cable was all i needed??
