    got a cute 10" chromeos tablet and (before i embark on building a Linux distro for it) been trying out the stock os, the android runtime works really really well

    mechanic tells me car is so rusted it's unrepairable and unsafe to drive
    list it on facebook marketplace for cheap (slightly above junkyard price) describing the state of the car, hoping someone buys it for parts or to trade in at a dealership
    guy buys it from me, tell him 5 times the state of the car and give him all the service history from the mechanic describing how fucked it is

    macos 15.6.1 (over .0) now requires that you receive a location permission attestation (with all the .app .plist NSblahblah bullshit) to read the current wifi ssid, even running as root can't bypass this
