    Not trivial with the error correction and redundency in QR codes. This is a working QR code after all.

    That really depends on the flavour of passive or active audio throughput and the phone manufacturer. I've got a blackview phone with passive audio output (DAC on phone) that works well with their own headphones but the passive adaptors I've tried failed (there's no agreed standard). If I use an active adaptor the signal to noise ratio at low volumes is terrible and the USB output gets shut off after 15 minutes bacause the phone thinks it's inactive.

    I know how to install Win11 on an "incompatible" device. How do I fool Microsoft into detecting my Copilot+ compatible devices as incompatible?

    @ryanc If a Robin Smith married another Robin Smith, they had the same date of birth and lived together then each of them declaring a gender on a form might help distinguish them, but it also might not. People being allowed to state non-binary makes it even easier to distinguish individuals. DWP should embrace it.

    That's kind of the point; the current variant of metric system, MKS, and the units people use, like litres, are not coherent (other metric variants include CMS and MTS). And while gramme is a unit of weight it is not a "base unit" so can't be used in other calculations, such as force = mass * acceleration.

    "A coherent derived unit, for a chosen set of base units, is a product of powers of base units, with the proportionality factor being one."

    @clacke

    The decimeter is almost exactly the same measurement as a "hand" (equal to 4 inches) which is the unit most often used to measure the height of a horse.

    The French also use a crazy system. The base unit of distance is metres (Earth's circumference/40,000 to make it roughly equivalent to a yard) but don't lead directly to volume in litres, you have to remember to do your measurements in decimetres. The unit of weight isn't the gramme but the thousand-gramme (kilogramme). Instead of a cube of sides 1 metre containing one litre and that volume of water weighing 1 gramme, it weighs 1 thousand thousand-grammes. ;)

    @ryanc That is surprising. I'm guessing it's been put out in place of the phenylephrine version by mistake. If you have trouble finding DPH in future you can also look out for Panadol Night. That will be with the OTC painkillers and is a combination of paracetamol (acetaminophen) 500mg and DPH 25mg. Obviously not for anyone sensitive to paracetamol though.

    @ryanc Pseudoephedrine should be behind the pharmacist's side of the counter in the UK. Don't be fooled by the other Sudofed that contains no pseudoephedrine.

    50mg Sleepeaze are normally the most cost effective high street DPH.

    @bazzargh @bbcmicrobot I ended up with the same kind of stripy dither you got two posts up when I flipped a +z to -

    I'm not smart enough to rewrite your chain routine so I went for a hack-it-till-it-breaks-then-roll-back-and-try-again approach and added an 8x8 bayer dither matrix. I think I've got enough pixels calculated now to avoid any bleed or moire patterns. Starting the pre-calculated angles at 0.5 degrees helped avoid various vertical line issues.
