@graves501 aww thank you.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to...
Ummm, is that wave gonna hit us?"

If you’re ever on the Central Coast of California, drive to Montana de Oro State Park, and hike the Bluff Trail. You will not regret it.

And take all the little spur trails! You’ll see all the high tide drama and sweeping ocean views.

Also, I toon a bajillion photos with my Canon. I’ll put them up on my #pixelfed account when I have time. (@killyourfm@pxlmo.com)

California is pretty ok sometimes 🤩💙

@flavigula Did you move from Spain directly to Czechia? Based on my (admittedly very limited) experience of both, seems like an upgrade :)

I've had some memorable October 15ths.

In 2017, I was spending my first adventurous week in Croatia, experiencing the delicious traditional Bosnian dish "Kvrguša" alongside the thickest, richest Turkish coffee I've ever sipped. And experiencing a whole lot of culture shock (but in the best way).

And on October 15, 2023, I arrived at Yosemite's North Pines campground to begin my first backpacking trip! (If you ever want to read about that, it's here: https://seasonsofjason.com/yosemite-solo-backpacking-day-1-curry-village-to-little-yosemite-valley-2/)

Sometimes I joke about this timeline being a dumpster fire, but then I see that an official Fortnite client is coming to Linux. Which ALSO means pigs HAVE learned how to fly. And I smile a bit...

(No, I don't play Fortnite, but the biggest game in the world finally going official on Linux is massive.)

@chengdulittlea @gnome Thank you!

@mlabowicz @gnome Thanks Michael! I'm looking forward to helping.

Brb, just signing my contractor agreement with @gnome Foundation :gnomewhite: 🎉

Stay tuned!

@hikingdude HA! Long live the Fediverse.

Time to revive my #Pixelfed account!

An overdue apology to all women: for the longest time, I thought the chorus of “Devil Inside” by INXS said: “Devil inside, devil inside, every single woman has the devil inside.”

Happy birthday, Brütal Legend 🤘

@Oregon_Pacifist Who could have seen this coming???

Finally having enough energy for some short walks. And there is no other place. I’d rather be than good ‘ole Cayucos

(While it’s true I adore the Oregon coast, this was my childhood and young adulthood home away from home.)

@intrepidhero @Av8rdan YES IT DOES! Definitely checking them out next Spring when I head back to the Oregon coast.

@latenightlinux The future of ARM gaming on Linux looks better and better! (Off to listen...)

@flwwhtrbt This is such good news, thank you for sharing it. I ADORED Wing Commander III & IV - played them on my 3DO back in the day. Mainly because I didn't have much ELSE to play on it, but I digress...

I revisited WCIV via eXoDOS earlier this summer and those FMVs were TOUGH to get through. Having them without that early 90s compression will rock.
