While 30 days is barely long enough to get accustomed to a vastly different lifestyle, I can confidently say I'm blissfully happy. Waking up to a new day feels like waking up to a new adventure.
Thanks for all your positivity and enthusiasm, Fediverse friends!
@mlabowicz THAT'S what I'm talking about! The man who runs the place told me you can take a dog sled up to the springs during winter. Definitely on my wishlist now. I bet the soaking is sublime in the snow.
I spent the day at Cascade Creek Hot Springs (in Wyoming) and met two awesome people from my hometown (Fresno, CA)! We even exchanged numbers, which I never do. But these were fellow travelers and adventurers. Felt like my kind of people, you know?
Well, I DID say I wanted to escape those awful summer temperatures in the California valley. Guess I succeeded. The low overnight was 27.3ยฐF / -2.6ยฐC ๐ฅถ
If anyone wants to support me on YouTube with comments and views, you'll have my enthusiastic gratitude. These are fun to make, and I'll make more when I have time. My only goal is to make enough there to put gas in the tank :) https://youtu.be/fG9BwvY0SkA
Another perfect day in Wyoming, this time at an unbelievably awesome hot springs. Which is free... and open 24/7... and has showers and restrooms... with magical pools right on the river... I'm stunned. And blissfully happy.
@joeress Also, I appreciate the validation. There's a lot of anti-youtube sentiment on here (for valid reasons), but it is still the only show in town if you want a reasonable audience.
