Got my Switch 2 two and a half hours ago.
First impressions.

I fired up Metroid Prime Remastered while Mariokart World was downloading and was kinda disappointed it didn't have any upgrade automatically or even available at the eShop. Game still looks and feels fantastic but I'm just sad Nintendo seems to be ignoring Metroid nowadays I guess.

After that Mariokart was downloaded I fired it and up and immediately got addicted to Free Roam mode. XD

Surprising, as most Twichers I've watched had a lukewarm reaction to Fre Roam but I personally really enjoy it. It's chill, it's got secrets and you can explore new characters/karts and courses at your own leisure. I personally think it's a great idea!

Even though the prices are completely scammy imo, at least the Switch 2 is a solid product which I think after a price drop has potential. Hopefully Nintendo gets their act together in time.

You should cherish the coming months imo. Having the opportunity to live life like it should be lived is something that doesn't come very often, unfortunately. We're all too busy trying to survive and we foget to live.

@killyourfm Yeah, LFE was one of my fav channels when it was active. I think you're a really communicative guy and your enthusiasm about Linux literally penetrated the screen in every video,

Never lose that enthusiasm for whatever you decide to occupy your time with! I think this is the essence of life, always enjoy what you're doing and give it your all!

@killyourfm I mean I won't get it day 1 either but still I can get it in some months or next year (when it will probably be available in Greece). As
a product it seems seriously good though, which is the main thing.

@killyourfm It seriously did. I remember telling people that Lnux is actually good for gaming before the Steam Deck would get you the title of clown at the very least.

I still rememeber how people perception of Linux changed little by little and that's still happening.

It's great to see how successful the device was and here's hoping that SteamOS cna become the norm for handheld devices! :)

@killyourfm Yeah I missed a lot of good Switch games as well and trying to catch up right now.

I hope I'll be done by the end of the year and will be able to focus on Switch 2 ASAP.

@killyourfm I absolutely agree. I've always been a Nintendo fan but as the years passed and I discovered Steam I drifted to the PC side.
These days I'm finding myself going back to Nintendo. They have a very particular kind of vibe which I appreciate a lot.
Even in their more mature offerings like Metroid, Eternal Darkness or the Xenoblade series they can offer something unique and exciting for my brain.
It woud not be an exaggeration to say that I would be content just owning a Nintendo console. And that's how I see myself in the future tbh, with PC gaming (apart from some select franchises like Final Fantasy) being a bonus.

@killyourfm Riiiight? I bought it on the Wii without knowing what it was as well. I am a huge Nintendo fan and I read that this was a good first party RPG by Nintnedo. I was literally FLOORED by how good it was and seriously, it just keeps getting better until it reaches God levels of epic.

I ended up reaching level 99 and doing most of the quests, I loved it that much. The other parts (X and 2 namely) are very different so I never got to finish them (will do though) and I never tried 3 but this one is my second fav game ever after Final Fantasy VII. I cherish every moment I spent in it! :)

@killyourfm OMG! Xenoblade is literally one of the best franchise ever! You cannot imagine how epic it becomes until the end! I envy you for playing it for the first time! Have fun! :)

@killyourfm I don't mind the box being bigger. Imo it gives it more "prestige". A smaller case is kinda like a toy but that may be just me.

Also, if that means a proper handbook like I saw someone else mention that I'm 1000% for it. I bought FF VII Rebirth Collector's Edition just so I can have the physical box and everything included in it, while knowing that I will properly play the title on PC.

TLDR: I'm a fan of a bigger box. :)

Shutting off a Nazi is not political, it's common sense, end of story.

Worse of all, 90% of comments are pro this move. Insanity. I considered Linux users to be smarter. This is a travesty.
