   I've made a decision about life. I'll take the rest of 2025 to focus on my writing. I'll completely immerse myself in hiking and outdoor adventures. And I'll start a video series that combines my love for nature, storytelling, and audio/video production.

   I accept that this will drain a lot of my savings. I accept that it may not work out. But the FREEDOM I feel from giving myself permission to chase something I truly love is intoxicating.

   And I'm grateful that I have the opportunity to try.

     You should cherish the coming months imo. Having the opportunity to live life like it should be lived is something that doesn't come very often, unfortunately. We're all too busy trying to survive and we foget to live.

     Please, make the best out of this period and I really wish you the best and hope you can continue doing what you love indefinitely! :)

     @joeress @killyourfm Yea man, you’re in my head. Do you remember the times when tech headlines would excite you? When products were genuinely about improving your life? And now they’re exactly as you described where we recoil and gasp at how awful it’s getting.

     There’s a line in the Bob Marley movie: “You swim in pollution, you get polluted.” I feel that’s what 2+ decades being immersed in the tech news cycle has done to my soul.

     @killyourfm I'm sitting here catching up on my RSS feeds and the more I read, the more I think you are really onto something here. Almost every headline is some AI bullshit or other. Tech has gone from exciting to boring to alarming and dystopian. So damn right, man. Get out there, have some adventures, and share your passion with the world. Who cares if it doesn't work out. All you will have "lost" is the time you spent in nature and the time you spent documenting it.
