     @killyourfm It seriously did. I remember telling people that Lnux is actually good for gaming before the Steam Deck would get you the title of clown at the very least.

     I still rememeber how people perception of Linux changed little by little and that's still happening.

     It's great to see how successful the device was and here's hoping that SteamOS cna become the norm for handheld devices! :)

     @killyourfm Nah man, I've worked through that trauma 😄 The price you pay for being an early adopter, I was part of the "2nd wave". I heard someone else complaining they had to wait two WHOLE weeks to get theirs and I was like "Yeah, poor thing..." 🤣

     @sebulon I remember when some Redditors calculated things based on people's exact pre-order times and when their Steam Deck shipped, and it seemed like SECONDS made the difference. People ordering a minute after someone else were getting their Decks weeks or months later. Crazy!

     @killyourfm well it'll have at least 3 more good years in it I reckon. Probably more with how frequently I perform my upgrades and with the games I play and make!

     I used to play games on Linux on my 2012 netbook too, but the Steam Deck sure has made the portable life much more enjoyable!
