I have started streaming now with the specific purpose of finishing games.

Concerning FF, I have finished FF 1,3,6,7,10 and 12 so far and want to finish 2,8,14,15 and then continue 16 . But of course once Rebirth is out I'm not playing anything else. XD

So it's complicated. XD

Yeah, Metaphor is seriously impressive from its beginning hours I can attest to that. I will also have to check what is available from Atlus on Steam as well.

@killyourfm My main reason for using Linux is that I can have my own personal workflow. Personalized and optimal for me. Whether it's TWMs or custom keyboard keybinds, immutable or classic distros Linux is so versatile and agile in its usage everyone can have their own personal workflow, so that using your PC is a joy and not a hassle.

That's what sold me Linux initially and it still does so today.

#Windows #recall is apparently coming to ALL systems in 24H2 and is a hard dependency for Explorer to work lol.

@killyourfm Wayland has HDR Support on AMD but there's a bug in egl-wayland with Nvidia and colors will be washed out most probably.

That's why I asked for the specs. XD

@killyourfm What are the specs? For newer games, if you're on Nvidia you'll be missing HDR and DLSS3 FG which are huge blows for Linux. That's why I keep a Windows partition to make use of these two features on games like CP2077 and Wukong.

@killyourfm Absolutely. I think more people need to be aware of this amazing feature on Windows and the Linux people need to be motivated to actually implement it.

Tech is just a tool. People should use what's best for the job. Having any bias in tech is like having a bias against a hammer. It just doesn't make sense.

@killyourfm I tried switching to Windows just for Lossless Scaling. Any kind of FG is a game changer for low end devices. And if you can up the frames of capped games as well it becomes absolutely essential for ANY kind of device.

The Linux devs need to so seriously look into it.

@killyourfm Am I the only one or has Windows become quite peculiar when it comes to gaming/streaming?

My friend couldn't get Prototype to work on Windows yesterday cause it supposedly needed fewer cores available than what he has. I launched perfectly fine on Linux.
And a streamer I know couldn't stream because she needed to update her drivers first.
Not to mention the overheating issues I still have with OBS on my main laptop (not my old one I posted about before).

Like, is this a trend now?
